When you register, you are assigned a personal Tehillim schedule or Track #. You are then responsible to recite a new daily portion of Tehillim, starting on Rosh Chodesh Elul (Alef) that corresponds to your Track # and then continue till Yom Kippur when you complete the sefer Tehillim.
You share one D'var Torah with the group. On any topic and any length - something that may help others receive inspiration. The D'var Torah can be posted directly onto the website or can be emailed to MensElulChavura@gmail.com.
You give Tzedaka one time during the program. Any amount to any cause.
Your D'var Torah and your Tzedaka are both due on the same day, which is determined by your assigned Tehillim Track.
This program relies on you. You have an individual responsibility to hit your marks; if you don't do your daily Tehillim, that day’s collective completion is affected.
We operate as a unit so the merits of one are shared by all. Sefer Tehillim is completed collectively every day, a new D'var Torah is shared and Tzedaka is given daily. By Yom Kippur, each person will have personally completed Sefer Tehillim.
